People Of Destiny

Pastoral Care

“I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me” (Matthew 25:35–36).

At People of Destiny our goal is to shepherd the flock of God by meeting the needs of those under our care. We
strive to do this in the following ways.

Leadership

Acts 1:1-2 demonstrates that Jesus leads His Church. Jesus gave commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen. The Church belongs to Jesus and is led by Jesus. He has also appointed leaders to help the Church accomplish its mission. These leaders, such as Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers were given to the
Church to equip God’s people to do the ministry and grow in both maturity and unity (Ephesians 4:11-16). At People of Destiny Ministries Int’l, we believe in the leadership of Christ and of those He appointed as leaders in the Church.

Worship

Worship is when we acknowledge the esteem andworth of god. He alone is worthy of our praise. Westrive to glorify god at people of destiny ministrieswith celebration services that allow for fullexpressions of gratitude to god, prayer, preachingand ministry. We want to demonstrate christ’sleadership as he is lord. Relationships arestrengthened in fellowship. Prayer is woventhroughout the service. Ministry happens as needs aremet. Discipleship occurs as we learn to live whatchrist commanded. Evangelism takes place as thegospel is shared and an invitation to respond isgiven. All of these functions are part of worship.
